Trip day to day itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu

Flying to Kathmandu along the northern border of Nepal on a clear day is in itself an exciting and memorable experience. As you fly, the panoramic view of snow-capped Annapurna mountain range greets your sight. After the completion of Visa formalities, you have to come downstairs to collect Luggage and proceed to outside from terminal Building. Please look at your Printed Name and Our Company Signboard Annapurna Foothills Treks & Exp and follow them. Meet our representative and then you will be transferred to hotel. You will be served free welcome drinks, tea or coffee or juice at the time of check in.

The Managing Director or The Manager of company will meet you in hotel and will brief about the trip. You should clear your dues before we proceed for the trip. You are free to relax or explore around the city in the very first day. Over night stay in hotel.

Day 02: Kathmandu - Patan

In the morning you, will start your sightseeing by visiting Durbar Square . Durbar Square is the spiritual heart of Kathmandu valley. After visiting Durbar Square , you will visit the temple of living goddess Kumari. Afterwards you will visit Swayambhunath. Swayambhunath Stupa is famous for the eyes of Buddha which seem to observing the world from every direction. After visiting Swayambhunath, you will drive to Patan. Patan was the second largest town in the valley but it has been absorbed into Kathmandu . Patan was previously known as Lalitpur (the beautiful city). Over night stay at Patan

Day 03: Patan - Chitwan National Park

After breakfast, you will drive to the Royal Chitwan National park . The area of the National Park covers around 950 square km. The Chitwan National park is the natural habitat of the Tiger, great one-horned Indian rhinoceros, leopard, gaur, sloth and wild bear, sambar. We stay overnight at comfortable lodge in the national park. Over night stay in hotel.

Day 04: Chitwan National Park

In the early morning, you will have a jungle safari in the Chitwan National Park penetrating through lush grasslands to view wildlife. In the afternoon, you will have a ride in Canoe on the Narayani river where there are very good chances of viewing the gharial crocodiles as well as the mugger crocodiles, fresh water dolphins, Otters and varieties of water birds. Over night stay in hotel.

Day 06 :Kathmandu-Nagarkot

In the morning you, will start your sightseeing by visiting Bhaktapur Durbar Square city- Kathmandu valleys most medieval city also known as Bhadgaon and was one of the three Kingdoms of Mallas. It is famous for Lion gate, the picture gallery, the Golden gate and palace of 55 windows.It is situated at an altitude od 2175 m above sea level,east of Kathmandu. Over night stay in hotel.

Day 07 :Nagarkot -Dhulikhel

Early wake up call is given by the hotel staff to enjoy the sunrise. Have panoramic views of Himalayas from the hotel tower, after breakfast hiking up to Nala. it is said to have been built in 323 AD and said to be the oldest temple. And drive to Dhulikhel, stay Overnight at resort in Dhulikhel.

Day 08 : Dhulikhel to Namo Budha:

Early morning to see Sunrise with the Panoramic view of the Himalayan. short hiking to Namo Baudha, an ancient Buddhisshrine situated on the top of the hill that provides a magnificent view of the eastern Himalayan range.stay overnight at resort in Dhulikhel. Over night stay in hotel.

I was trekking on the Annapurna Base Camp Trek in November 2007 together with two friends. It was wonderful getting to know rural Nepal and experiencing the enchanting scenery of the mountains. Ngima Sherpa was our trekking guide. It was his great enthusiasm that made our trip an unforgettable experience! He was reliable, perfectly organised and did far more than the necessary "guiding job": for example getting up in the early hours to run before us to secure accomodation, providing a girl we met on the trek with equipment when her shoes became broken or recommending accomodation in Karthmandu. The daily parts of the trek were well organized with enough time for breaks and to accomodate to the altitude.
