Trip day to day itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu:

Flying to Kathmandu along the northern border of Nepal on a clear day is in itself an exciting and memorable experience. As you fly, the panoramic view of snow-capped Annapurna mountain range greets your sight. After the completion of Visa formalities, you have to come downstairs to collect Luggage and proceed to outside from terminal Building. Please look at your Printed Name and Our Company Signboard Annapurna Foothills Treks & Exp and follow them. Meet our representative and then you will be transferred to hotel. You will be served free welcome drinks, tea or coffee or juice at the time of check in.

The Managing Director or The Manager of company will meet you in hotel and will brief about the trip. You should clear your dues before we proceed for the trip. You are free to relax or explore around the city in the very first day.

Day 2: Kathmandu Tour:

After breakfast, our city guide will come to the hotel with vehicles and then we visit Bodhanath, the Stupa of a Million Dew-Drops. We circumambulate the stupa with monks and devotees. Then we Visit Pashupatinath , Nepal 's most sacred Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, the destroyer. We see Hindu cremation along the banks of the Bagmati River.

After visiting Pashupatinath, we drive to Bhaktapur - the City of Devotees . There is a one big museum in Bhaktapur which is famous for temples, palaces and houses dating back several centuries. Drive back to Kathmandu . Overnight stay at hotel

Day 03: Kathmandu – Trishuli Rafting -Chitwan Jungle Safari

After Breakfast, we drive to Charaudi 3 hours by private vehicles or by bus. Your rafting stats after your guide instruct you about the trip. Beautiful scenery, friendly rapids and warm water makes your rafting day exciting and memorable. . After 2 hours rafting , we make a lunch break and continue again and camp at Kurintar. After lunch you will drive in a private vehicle to the Royal Chitwan National Park. Overnight stay at hotel

Day 04: Chitwan activities:

After breakfast, your adventure holiday starts off with canoeing in the Rapti River where you can see Gharial and then we visit to the Elephant breeding centre. After Lunch,we proceed to the jungle for a guided safari on Elephant where you are free to see animals such as rhino, antelope and other wildlife as you move through the jungle. Overnight stay at hotel

Day 05: Chitwan – Pokhara:

After breakfast, we take a quick tour of Bird watching. Then we drive to Pokhara. Pokhara is a place of remarkable natural beauty. The serenity of Phewa Lake and the magnificence of the Fishtail Peak rising behind it create an ambiance of peace and tranquility. Day 06: Pokhara Sight seeing:

After breakfast, we go for sight seeing in Pokhara that includes international museum, Seti river gorge, Mahendra cave, Davis fall. In the evening, we go for one hour boat ride on Fewa Lake . Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 07: Fly Pokhara to Kathmandu:

In just over half an hour, you get Nepal 's most popular largest Mountain View city, Pokhara. Flight to Pokhara gives an ample opportunity to view of Dhaulagiri and Annapuran Regions Mountains.

Day 08: Sight seeing in Kathmandu valley city tour.

After the breakfast in the morning, our city guide will come to the hotel with vehicles and then, we visit the 5th century Swayambunath temple with its characteristic Buddha eyes that keep a protective watch over Kathmandu Valley . Better known as the "monkey temple", pilgrims climb up the 365 steps to the temple. This climb is optional.

Then we drive to the Patan Durbar Square for lunch, followed by a tour of the ancient Palace Square and temples.

At the end of the day, we even go to visit Tibetan Refugees center at Jawalakhel if time permits.

Then we return to hotel and you are free until the dinner is served. Tonight, attend a traditional Nepali dinner accompanied by a cultural program that presents glimpses of colorful Nepal. (Culture program)

I was trekking on the Annapurna Base Camp Trek in November 2007 together with two friends. It was wonderful getting to know rural Nepal and experiencing the enchanting scenery of the mountains. Ngima Sherpa was our trekking guide. It was his great enthusiasm that made our trip an unforgettable experience! He was reliable, perfectly organised and did far more than the necessary "guiding job": for example getting up in the early hours to run before us to secure accomodation, providing a girl we met on the trek with equipment when her shoes became broken or recommending accomodation in Karthmandu. The daily parts of the trek were well organized with enough time for breaks and to accomodate to the altitude.
