Langtang Trekking

Lang Tang trek is also known as langtang valley trek which goes via langtang national park. There are so many exciting trekking options available in Langtang and Helambu region such as Langtang valley trekking, Langtang and Gosainkund trekking, Ganja La pass trek, Gosainkund trekking, Gosainkund and Helambu valley trekking, Helambu valley treks and Shivapuri hilly valley of Kathmandu trekking.

These treks are located in the central region of Nepal and in northern side from Kathmandu valley. Kyanjing Gompa and Tserko Ri are some of the popular places in this region. Those we visit Kyannjing Gompa make day excursion to Tserko Ri from where your eyes will arrest the stunning view of the beautiful mountains.

This section suggests a five days approach to the heart of the Langtangg Valley from Langtang village or Kyanjin Gompa there are several alternatives for returning to Kathmandu.

It is possible to make the trek back to Dhunche in only three days from Langtang village because much of it downhill.

Langtang and Helambu trekking region is the third most popular trekking route in Nepal. Basically there are three major areas namely langtang, Gosaikunda and Helambu and we can arrange the combine trek from 9 to 19 days. Langtang valley trek is the narrow valley that is located just south of the Tibetan boarder.

Lang Tang Gosaikund is a lake and Hindu pilgrimage prefers to visit this lake but backpackers like to cross Lauribinayak pass which is at elevation 4610m. Helambu valley is green and thus people prefer to trek in Helambu area so that they could enjoy the natural beauty and visit old monasteries in the region.
