







Nepal mountaineering Association (NMA) is a non governmental and not profit organization and it is the only national alpine club of Nepal. It was established in November 1, 1975. This association is working as prime institution for mountain tourism promotion and mountain environment protection in the country.
The main objectives of the association are: to familiarity mountains, mountaineering and mountains activities to provide support to professional climbers and all those involved in mountaineering to organize mountain cleaning, Campaigns to coordinate with regional and international organizations related to 5587m to 6654 m ranges in the Manang, Annapurna, Langtang and Khumbu area since 1978.
